Following the acquisition of the renowed dance label Global Underground we set about the challanege of re-invigorating the brands presence online. Global is unlike any brand or project we have worked on before, the customers are immensly loyal they worship the brand and the music it delivers, in turn they invest huge amounts of time interacting with both the brand and the other users online.

With these users in mind, the brief was written to complement whats been before and not to challenge or interfere with the way they are currently interfacing with the brand. We wanted to support the users by bringing them more information in a more indepth fashion all in a manner they can easily consume.

We decided to bring with us some of the assets that keep the user base so active such as the forum and membership and add on some new features such as DJ blogs and DJ charts that they can interact with.
