Ministry of Sound - Digital Design & Production Manager

07/07 - Present

Responsible for the design, execution and production of all digital projects across the extensive Ministry of Sound brand portfolio. Working from scoping, through to design, development and deployment. As the creative lead I am responsible for guiding a diverse team of six designers & developers throughout project lifecycles. Drawing on my technical & design background I ensure projects remain concious of usability and information architecture. I place a strong emphasis on achieveing budget and timeline objectives, while maintaining the brands integrity.

Ministry of Sound - Interactive Designer

06/07 - 07/07

I worked as the sole designer on all Ministry of Sound digital projects. My responsibilities included site design, banner advertisements, eflyer designs and integrated advertising projects. Key projects included the ministryofsound.com site design refresh, hedkandi.com rebuild & various integrated advertising campaigns with clients such as talk to frank. Responsible for all front end UI development. I have an in depth knowledge of writing standards compliant XHTML/CSS.

CodeBlue Publishing - Graphic Designer

09/05 - 06/06

Graphic Designer for a fast paced design team, contributing on a wide range of commercial projects. Responsible for the production of four monthly industry magazines ranging from fashion to engineering. This involved working to strict production deadlines to ensure magazines were sent to press on-time and to a high standard. Collaborated with studio team and directors on branding corporate identities for local and national clients. Liaised with clients to ensure all artwork was approved and signed off before sending to press. Developed extensive InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills.

Premier Mobile - Graphic Designer

09/00 – 08/02

Responsible for design and production of advertising campaigns and materials email, print & direct mail. Close communication and co-operation with operations and managing director to meet weekly deadlines. Learnt to manage full-time education and freelance projects effectively, developing excellent deadline management. Developed skills in desktop publishing such as Quark, Corel and Photoshop.
